A new podcast features yours truly, discussing that Dear Boy, Keith Moon.
The music of The Who was part of my youth. The music is amazing. I still remember being blown away by the music and inventiveness of the movie Tommy. Good luck with the podcast.
One of my lifetime memories was listening to The Who “Live at Leeds” for the first time.
An amazing experience.
The podcast was fascinating.
I first heard the ‘Who live at Leeds’ in the summer of 1970. Aged 10.
A friend’s father allowed us to listen to his vinyl record collection.
This was also about the same time I discovered vintage blues music, in particular Robert Johnson, Bo Diddley etc
I know that feeling. When was it for you (like, age and year approx)? Hope you enjoyed the podcast.
It was an absolute pleasure, Tony. And thank you again for spreading the word about the podcast. Cheque's in the post...
You got a a good show. Stick at it. I also relished the difference in audio quality on this one.
