I am so glad you included Noah's performance at Rock Acadamy's Radiohead tribute show. I am sorry I missed it in person, but my daughter, Maegan, also of Rock Academy, enjoyed it immensely. I often get teary-eyed at milestone shows and events, and this was that for you, Noah and your family and friends. I don't know Jason Bowman very well, but what I do know is that he will miss Noah's presence on the daily. What are Noah's plans for the future? (Maybe a conversation for another time.) No matter what his next endeavor is, I wish him health, happiness and success for today and all his tomorrows.

I would have loved to have experienced Modest Mouse and the Pixies, but with a 20th Wedding Anniversary trip to Mexico on the horizon, funds are limited. Thanks for sharing your experience though. It helps to hear a genuine review. Makes one feel a little more connected as if they were there themselves.

Thank you so much Julia... I hear you on ticket prices; I paid good money for my Richard Thompson ticket just because it was about time I took advantage of seeing him. Here and there I get comped and that was fortunately the case with Pixies/Modest Mouse/Cat Power, otherwise it can really add up. That's why I was positive about the venue itself, because if you do pay good money for an outdoor show, it's nice to be able to afford/enjoy the food/drink, hear and see properly, and get to sit down if you want to (and remember to bring a chair)... BTW, it's Noel not Noah but believe me he's heard it a few times over the years; look forward to watching Maegan develop likewise.

I apologize. There is a Noah and Noel in Maegan's orbit (about the same age as well.) I try to allow Rock Academy to be her 'thing', but honestly, I am so jealous of the opportunity she gets there. I wish there had been a supportive environment such as they offer at Rock Academy around in my area during my youth. I asked her if joining Rock Academy's adult program as a true novice would be stealing her thunder and alas, it would be stealing her thunder. I just finished an attempt at going back to my college roots and reviewed The Dresden Dolls show at Colony last Friday. I am about to post it to my Substack, so here goes everything.
